I've been thinking about installing AOL Server (which I originally heard about from http://www.photo.net/) on one of the boxes. Wound up messing around with this instead:

This is some sample text using AOL press.

Worked a bit with the MKS bug tracking system. Odd that one gets a 404 in MSIE 5.

This DVD controversy is outlandish. There are times when Wired reporting just causes me to chuckle:
"Now really, Ms. Gross, I think it's a mistake for you to assume you're talking to a moron," said the judge, who pronounced Linux with a long "i" (the correct pronunciation is LIH-nix), and required a short briefing on the concept of linking.

Matt suggested that Chex mix should be sent in file cabinet drawers instead of metal tins. That way, when you've finished with the Chex mix, you've got a file cabinet.

Moving copyrom to the Macintosh and setting up the system.
    (from the 7.5.3 tutorial)
  1. Download HFV Explorer, the NT port of HFS.
  2. Make a Macintosh hard drive
  3. Make a boot floppy

I'm setting up the the Macintosh emulator on the NT box:
  1. Grab the utility for extracting the 68K ROM from the bottom of http://www.emulators.com/demo/index.htm, namely
copyrom.hqx. Copy the file over to the Performa 630CD and extract the ROM.
  2. Download the Basilisk II NT port and survey the technical notes.
  3. Obtain System 7.5.

Looking at educational and end user Linux applications. SEUL had some interesting links as did the page at http://gd.tuwien.ac.at:8050/Z/3/.

Maybe I'll get the Macintosh ROM for the emulator...
