Looking at training options for CVS. It might be a good idea to start with some CVS related tools (from Google) that show what information is contained in CVS and why it's useful:
    User Tools
  1. CVSSearch
  2. LysCVS
  3. Bonsai

Reviewing some of the applications that can be used with Blogger. blogBuddy seems to be working as expected (it looks like post editting is a feature for later versions). BlogScript and some of the related links on the Blogger API and XML-RPC should probably be reviewed.

Also, and not suprisingly, there is a blogger-mode for Emacs.
